CaFe Cored Wire

The calc-Fe cored wire is made by mixing calcium metal with a certain proportion of iron powder.

With the help of the wire feeding machine, the liquid steel is quickly input, melting and dissolving in the depth of the liquid steel, which plays the role of deoxidation, desulfurization and inclusion removal. Meanwhile, it can fine-tune the composition, improve the yield of metal and rare earth elements, and ensure the stability of the composition. Reduce the amount of precious elements added, reduce the refining cost.

It is suitable for calcium treatment of molten steel in the refining process outside the furnace. Φ 13 mm suitable for medium and small electric furnace use versatility, Φ 16 mm suitable for big electric furnace.

The conductor

The cored wire is made of steel strip wrapped alloy powder.
